My phone is covered up in ads, After installing Avg!
I was on a social media platform and suddenly out of nowhere my phone started saying all sorts of things memory full, infected with malware and the list goes on and on, so much so that, I can't text or even make a phone call! I'm not smart phone r computer savvy, AVG won't help me, they said sincebI bought mybAVG product thru Google play my issue is with them, I'm lost with no help sight

Unable to use mobile sata when AVG VPN is on.
Brief conversation, just suggested uninstalljng AVG app abd installing it again.
Trying this to see if it helps , but have doubts as EE net work seems not to support a VPN now.

Software might be good, but there is no such thing as customer service. All it is are redirected web pages that don't answer questions and you are unable to email, call, or contact anyone when you have a problem or concern. Their billing system is run by the three stooges.

Google has no way of contacting and addressing the issue. Its round and round that ends up know where and im still out my money with service charges recurring that i cant stop
Called AVG and was told I had no subscription but have been billed and paid and have the subscription on my phone. Then they hung up.
What a scam.
Nobody should use AVG because once you're in, you can't get back out and they put you on automatic renewal so you will be paying forever for something you probably didn't need in the first place. Avoid.

Charged Despite Cancellation
I cancelled my subscription and removed my CC info and I still got charged for another year.
When I checked my subscriptions in my account it shows that I have no current subscriptions.
I then checked my order history and it also doesn't show that I renewed my subscription.
Lastly, checked my CC info and it simply states, "No active subscriptions, no payments to show", which tells me they likely still have that information and refuse to delete it.
There's literally no way to contact them, so I'll be going to my bank to dispute the charge and having it removed.
User's recommendation: Please do not use AVG for anything. They bombard you with constant emails and pop ups trying to convince you to spend more money and they'll charge you even if you cancel.

I phoned for the free computer boost. I was on the phone for 45 minutes with someone who asked me my name and Email 4 times, tried to send me to someone who could help me twice She just kept talking and would not shut up so I could say something. So I will not be signing up for anything from them again, Charge me more money and get someone who can understand ENGLISH

The problem your latest message was that there were 10 or so critical issues, urging a scan. That scan which ran overnight and did not complete, told me hundreds of thousands of issues resided on my computer.
This was after several years using your complete cover , which I cancelled as I seemed not to need the protection. The latest scan told me drivers affecting performance were the main issue, identifying about a dozen critical and 70+ others. When I sought information on this list of 70 drivers, you tell me that most of them were updated 2006-****, yet were absent on my computer, the implication being that DELL had not installed the drivers when I purchased as new. Moreover, Intel and Microsoft, which do regular driver updates, also failed to install updates.
Your stats of the shortfalls gave me the option to when the issue arose; it was not in the past month or even year, only is seems across the life of the computer.
This seems somewhat unlikely and I would like to put the question to DELL, Intel and Microsoft. Please confirm that they had been omitted from primary installation, producing the enormous issue AVG has just identified on my machine.
I have struggled to access my account which includes the free Virus Protection and this latest Issues Coverage ($60) to provide you a number to confirm I am me.

I have tried to contact you by email as my phone is out, your recommended email address "infor@***.com" comes with 'N0t delivered", return to sender; your fire wall simply rejected. my attempt to put the issue before you so we might resolve. The barriers via you chat 'service' seem to want to deter such resolution.
It asked for a purchase number that you did not provide. It wanted a phone number that I currently do not have.
Service seems to be short-on.
Now your bot won't let me proceed to the next steps after your gratuitous "Well Done!"
NOw you insist on YOUR terms of service to address your failure to provide service with a lengthy 'Agreement' that is meaningless to the average punter.
I do not agree with it, but must acknowledge it to proceed. It is just another reason to be Pissed about 'service'

i find several numbers the response is the same no matter what it asks you the computer says i didnt respond..this is suck bullshit...i didnt renew something and i get all the times comercials sayin i lost my service..its like no shit...i didnt want it..they are so iinvasive
